The existing propulsion systems on the market are not always suitable for all applications and scenarios at sea, either due to rigidity, fragility or excessive cost of the system or its maintenance.

The development of the ECA system emerges a few years ago, at the attempt to give an answer to a problem that we saw, especially in the field of coastal commercial fishing, where fishermen need a versatile system that allows them to combine on a single system the benefits of a traditional axius, at the performance and economy in maintenance and the best features of the sterndrives lines such as built-in elvation and direction.

After a development time and after the verification of its efficiency and performance with continued use in commercial fishing boats for several years, we decided to hit it to the market, using improvement tools recognized around worldwide for 3D design, allowing us to obtain simulated studies for the ECA system behavior, resulting in an improvement of the system, developing models optimized according to the power of the boat.

ECA incorporates hydraulic lifting and tiller.

The ECA system allows, thanks to the elevation, the navigation in shallow water or with obstacles and the easy release of objects such as nets, bags, etc., that could get caught in the propeller, without dipping into the sea. It also allows us to improve engine performance searching the optimum angle of elevation of the ECA system, adjusting it according to the load at the time of the engine.

By including rudder the response of the address is very fast both forward and reverse. This design with built-in rudder also simplifies assembly to the maximum, making it fast and precise once the positioning tunnel we provide is molded into the hull, a helmet that can be with or without keel.

By incorporating direction, the maneuverability of the boat greatly improves and can maneuver perfectly with the propeller shaft articulated ECA at any angle of elevation.

At the ECA development we set the reliability and minimum maintenance costs as a premise, so it is made of marine stainless steel AISI 316L steel AISI 316L d marine bronze. All the internal system is mounted in an oil bath, which ensures a long life of mechanical components.
